Braven BloodAxe Tires
Braven’s new hybrid design lands between a mud-terrain and all-terrain.
Braven Tires has released a new model: the BloodAxe R/T. Designed to slot between a traditional mud-terrain and an all-terrain, Braven says the BloodAxe is a DOT tire that should stand up to road use without sacrificing off-road capability. Like a truck tire, the tread pattern includes plenty of siping, which helps direct water away from the tread blocks to deliver better traction on wet pavement. Big lug voids should clear mud and debris with a little wheel speed too.
Braven says the radial is built with a chip-resistant compound, and features a rim protector lip, stone kicker bars, and staggered center and sidewall lugs. For now, the BloodAxe R/T is available for 14- and 15-inch wheels in the following sizes:
28 x 9.00R-14
30 x 9.50R-14
ADVERTISEMENT30 x 9.50R-15
32 x 10.00R-14
32 x 10.00R-15
35 x 10.00R-15
Prices start at $189.99 for the 28-inch option and run up to $264.99 for the big 35-inch rollers. Check out the Braven site for more information.
