Honda is well-known across the world as one of the forerunners in producing cutting-edge technology for automobiles and motorcycles. Thanks to the company's outstanding services, it has built ties with more than 28 million consumers across the globe.

In a bid to further strengthen that relationship, Honda unveiled its latest self-balancing motorbike, the Honda Riding Assist-e, in 2017. As the name implies, this motorcycle is designed for first-time riders who are just getting accustomed to racing on motorbikes.

Honda cut down the seat's weight, decreased the gravitational pull, and introduced self-balancing innovation without the need for a gyroscope to make it simpler for new users.

Generally, tech innovations provide convenience, and it is evident with the need for self-balancing motorcycles. Motorbikes are hefty and hence, difficult to get out of the garage. However, with the introduction of Honda's Assist-e, you can move your motorcycle without hitting the gym.

The futuristic motorcycle from Honda is aimed at assisting beginners in enjoying their riding experience. New riders that are still learning the ropes are often advised not to ride at a relatively slow pace since doing so may result in falling over.

In addition to a possible crash, slow-riding is tedious as the biker struggles to maintain their weight on the bike. Thanks to Honda's technology, the safety of new bikers is guaranteed as they won't need to bother about their bikes swaying recklessly.

Balancing a motorbike in an upright position requires a hefty gyroscopic apparatus that must continue to spin. An experienced biker can easily overcome this challenge, but new riders who don't know what motorcycles can do may eventually get frustrated.

Rather than use traditional gyroscopes, Honda selected its unique device that is a little bigger than a lamp. Mounted over the front wheel, the device allows the Honda Assist-e to remain standing without anyone holding it.

Even while the user is seated on the motorcycle, the auto-balancing feature is active. And when you switch off the Assist-e bike, it will remain upright without placing your feet on the ground.

The motorbike maintains its stability when traveling at moderate speeds, particularly favorable in metropolitan areas with slow-moving traffic. It may even accompany the driver once they hop off the motorcycle.
