Yamaha Announces 2021 Ténéré 700 US Pricing And Availability
The middleweight-displacement Ténéré arrives…sort of.
Yamaha officially broke news of Ténéré 700 pricing and availability for the US market—but potential buyers beware: The holdup continues. The all-new model will be hitting stateside dealers in early summer of 2020, but will be offered as a 2021 model for $9,999.
Also announced were two new colors: Matte Black and Intensity White. The additional hues make for three available options, including the previously announced Ceramic Ice colorway featured in _Cycle World_’s Ténéré 700 first ride.
No further details were given on the US-spec model, but the Ténéré 700 looks to continue on the same Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires as the Euro model. There is, however, an interesting catch with rake and trail numbers on the American model. Yamaha has yet to confirm the aforementioned specs, suggesting a possible chassis-related change prior to arrival.
So the wait for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 continues. _Cycle World_ is eagerly anticipatingawaiting more time aboard the middleweight ADV machine, pitting it against already-proven competitors. 2020 will be a year of adventure.
